The Psychology Clinic has been awarded a grant from the UGA Parents Leadership Council to off-set the cost of providing psychotherapy to low income UGA undergraduate students. The grant will also fund an assistantship for a graduate student therapist who will specialize in providing therapy to UGA undergraduate students. The funds will allow the Psychology Clinic to better serve students, especially low-income students, and reduce wait-times for all individuals seeking therapy services. The UGA Parents Leadership Council is a group of highly engaged parents who provide funds to a variety of projects that make a direct and positive impact on student life at the University of Georgia.
