Congratulations to Dr. Dorothy Carter who received a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) as Principal Investigator! The project is a collaboration with Dr. Kristin Cullen-Lester (Co-PI) who is an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Houston. Dr. Carter and Dr. Cullen-Lester are partnering with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) in Greensboro, NC and the Gutierrez Energy Management Institute (GEMI) in Houston, TX to investigate the factors that underpin networks of informal influence and communication in the upper echelons of organizations and the effects of these networks on organizational strategy and firm performance.
