Who We Are: Social and Personality Psychologists at UGA (SPPUGA) is a graduate student organization geared toward advancing the research of social and personality psychology, broadly defined to include topics like health and wellbeing, workplace psychology, biological foundations of psychology, motivation and self-regulation, cultural psychology, and individual differences. Our organization is open to any and all graduate students who are interested in Social and Personality Psychology. We occasionally open our lectures to advanced undergraduate students. What We Do: Host several events during the academic semester including co-working sessions, journal article clubs, conference presentation practice talks, and social gatherings. Host an Invited Lecturer who speaks on a topic relevant to SPPUGA's interests. The Invited Lecturer is usually hosted in the spring semester. Provide an academic library of books and journals related to our field to our members. Review and revise members' ongoing manuscripts as they are ready to be edited.
