Image: Dr. Kacy Morris was recently awarded the Sandy Beaver Excellence in Teaching Award! This is awarded to outstanding faculty in Franklin College who have shown "a sustained commitment to high-quality instruction," which Dr. Morris has certainly done over her 16 years in our Department! She served as Lecturer (2008-2014), Senior Lecturer (2014-2023), and Principal Lecturer (2023 - present). It's hard to quantify her contributions, but one amazing number is that she has taught over 7,600 undergrads just since her promotion to Senior Lecturer in 2014! She is truly an outstanding teacher and an excellent colleague who we are so fortunate to have in our department.
