The UGA Clinical Psychology Program’s Diversity Committee aims to (1) further the Clinical Program’s goal to develop culturally-competent skills in service and research and (2) promote diversity and inclusion within the Clinical Program and clinical science more broadly. The committee consists of graduate student and faculty representatives who meet regularly to discuss diversity-related issues. The committee also leads a series of initiatives each year, including proseminars and discussions on diversity-related topics, workshops for students from underrepresented backgrounds on applying to graduate school in clinical psychology, and community building activities for the Clinical Program.
